Research background
Lipo-C denotes a compounded lipotropic research solution typically combining methionine, inositol, and choline (the "MIC" base) with ancillary cofactors. These constituents participate in one-carbon (methyl-group) metabolism and hepatic lipid handling, the basis of laboratory interest in the formulation.
The combination is a compounded preparation rather than a single defined chemical; supporting evidence concerns the individual constituents.
