Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Catalyst Research Labs supplies reference materials for laboratory research use only. Because product integrity depends on controlled storage and handling, returns are accepted under the conditions below. This policy applies to all orders placed on catalystresearchlabs.store.

Return window

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. Requests after 30 days are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Eligible returns

To be eligible for return, products must be unopened, unused, in their original sealed packaging, and stored under the conditions stated on the label and Certificate of Analysis. Proof of purchase (order number) is required.

Non-returnable items

The following cannot be returned: opened or partially used vials; products marked for 2–8°C cold-chain handling, once delivered, unless damaged or defective in transit; and products stored outside their stated conditions after delivery.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders

Report transit damage, temperature excursions, defects, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery via the contact details on the Site, including your order number and photographs of the packaging and product. Verified claims are resolved with a replacement or full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

How to start a return

Contact us with your order number before shipping anything back. Approved returns receive return instructions; items sent without prior approval cannot be processed. Return shipping costs are the purchaser’s responsibility unless the return results from our error.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned product is received and inspected, typically within 5–10 business days. You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed. If a refund has not appeared after 10 business days, contact your card issuer, then contact us.

Exchanges

Exchanges are offered for defective or incorrectly shipped items only. For all other cases, place a new order and return the original item under the conditions above.
