1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of catalystresearchlabs.store (the “Site”) and the purchase of any products from Catalyst Research Labs (“Catalyst”, “we”, “us”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase products.

2. Research use only

All products supplied by Catalyst are for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, nor for use in diagnostics or therapeutics. Products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, medical devices, or dietary supplements and may not be used as such. No statement on this Site constitutes medical advice or a claim of safety or efficacy for any use in humans or animals.

3. Eligibility and qualified purchasers

The Site and its products are available only to individuals who are at least 21 years of age and who are qualified to handle research materials. By purchasing, the buyer affirms they are qualified to handle research materials and accept full responsibility for safe handling, storage, and lawful use. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where intended use cannot be verified.

4. Purchaser responsibilities and compliance

The purchaser is solely responsible for: (a) determining the suitability of each product for their research; (b) compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the purchase, possession, handling, storage, and disposal of research materials; and (c) ensuring products are handled only by trained personnel in an appropriate laboratory setting. Resale or transfer of products for any non-research purpose is prohibited.

5. Product information and certificates of analysis

Each lot is released with a Certificate of Analysis. Lot records may be verified at any time through the Site’s verification page. Specifications, storage conditions, and net quantities are stated per lot; the purchaser is responsible for maintaining stated storage conditions after delivery, including cold-chain requirements where marked.

6. Ordering and payment

All prices are stated in USD. Order totals are calculated at the time of purchase and include applicable taxes and shipping as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed at the time of order through our payment processor. We do not store card numbers on our servers. Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase; an order is accepted only when payment is confirmed and the order is processed for fulfillment.

7. Shipping and risk of loss

Orders are packed under ambient or cold-chain conditions as marked for each product. Risk of loss passes to the purchaser upon delivery to the carrier. Reported transit damage or temperature excursions must be raised promptly upon receipt and will be handled under our Refund and Returns Policy.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy. Due to the nature of research materials, products that have left controlled storage may not be eligible for return except where defective or damaged in transit.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the lot specifications stated in the applicable Certificate of Analysis, products are provided “as is”. Catalyst disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catalyst’s total liability arising out of or relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Catalyst shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including those arising from misuse of products or use contrary to Section 2.

11. Indemnification

The purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Catalyst, its officers, employees, and suppliers from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from the purchaser’s use, handling, storage, transfer, or disposal of products, or from any breach of these Terms.

12. Intellectual property

All Site content, including text, design assets, logos, and documentation, is the property of Catalyst Research Labs and may not be reproduced without written permission.

13. Privacy

Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of an order governs that order. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
